A. Thesis:

The rise of Prussia was a major part of European society and greatly affected future outcomes. Prussia’s military power was a major factor in their rise as a strong nation and was well known for its time. Prussia also had great political system which was in addition to their military might. Not only was Prussia externally strong, but their internal social structure eventually leading them to becoming a major factor in European society and forming a great and powerful nation.



Topic Sentences:

1.
Prussian military was one of the strongest in Europe, and it was a major pathway leading to Prussia’s rise and power.

2.
Prussia had a great political system built with well organized bureaucracies which set up great leaders, eventually leading to a very strong government.

3.
The internal society of Prussia was lead by a flurry of great leaders who strengthened the social aspect of Prussia.




B. Factual Information:

80% of Prussian government revenues went toward military

Prussian had tall and intimidating soldiers, fearing others

Junkers controlled the army, leading to organized military

Allied with Hapsburgs and other strong countries in the Grand Alliance

Commoners were able to rise into higher positions

Taxes were forced onto everybody, peasants and even nobles

Approximately 1,000 schools made for peasants children

b.
Taxes were reasonable, and not given only to peasants

Obedience was required by leaders, this led to a discipline society

d.
Good positions were available in the government and bureaucracies which gave people a reason to work hard



C. Clincher Sentences

The military power and might of Prussia was strong, although, this could not be done without an efficient political structure.

2.
The strength and organization of Prussian government lead them to making a good internal social structure, which lead to an overall organized society.

3.
Although Prussia’s military, political and social factors were strong and made Prussia a major power, these factors had to combine to make Prussia the power that it was.



D. Concluding statement:

Prussia’s military, political and social factors lead to them becoming a major power in Europe. Their military might was strong due to organized structures which had tall and strong soldiers and were very intimidating. Prussia’s politics were not built to favor
nobles, and had reasonable taxes, bureaucracies made Prussia’s government organized and structural. Tying it all together was their internal social structure giving commoners a chance in society. Prussia could not stand if these factors were not combined, and under their great leaders, they became a major power in European society.
