Opening up the 5.2 unit today, we covered the rise of Napoleon. Starting with his Napoleonic code, it somewhat represented the Justinian code back in the Byzantine Empire, trying to unify the entire state under one law. Class was pretty much occupied with a video, but the after-school video was alright. Some said it was pretty boring, however, but for me, I liked the over-emphasized dripping of blood Razz
